Job summary

Telia Cygate in Solna is seeking a senior Linux Engineer to design and operate the Kubernetes‑as‑a‑Service platform. You will develop CI/CD pipelines, monitor and optimize containerized workloads, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate container solutions into existing systems.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Linux Engineer to join Telia Cygate’s Managed Services team, focusing on container‑based platforms and cloud‑native solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Telia Cygate’s Kubernetes‑as‑a‑Service platform
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient application delivery
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize containerized applications and infrastructure
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate container solutions into existing systems and workflows
• Resolve technical challenges related to container technologies and cloud platforms
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices within cloud-native technologies
• Mentor and support junior engineers and developers within the container ecosystem
• Contribute to continuous improvement of platform services and automation capabilities

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Solid scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, Go or similar
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in Swedish (native or near‑native) and good English
• Experience leading, mentoring, and educating teams
• Self‑driven, proactive, and able to take ownership of initiatives
• Constructive and resilient when facing challenges; a team player who enjoys collaboration

Preferred

• CKA, DCA, or similar certifications
• Experience with security and compliance in containerized environments
• Knowledge of networking architecture and security within Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
