Cytiva, a Danaher Platform, seeks a Government Affairs Director to shape sustainability, chemicals and product-related policy developments that could impact Cytiva's business. The role is located at our sites in Uppsala, Sweden or Amersham, United Kingdom, with a possible remote arrangement based in Brussels.

You will lead cross-functional teams, translate complex regulation into strategic recommendations, build relationships with regulators and industry groups, and advise senior leaders on

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in life sciences government affairs, public policy or regulatory affairs.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional governance across Legal, Regulatory, Sustainability, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
• Experience working with government affairs colleagues in multinational environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead identification and assessment of emerging sustainability, chemicals and product-related policy developments with clear business implications.
• Serve as subject matter expert providing analysis to senior leaders on risks and opportunities.
• Establish cross-functional teams to evaluate regulatory developments and coordinate responses.
• Develop advocacy strategies with trade associations and stakeholders to protect Cytiva's interests.
• Build relationships with external stakeholders including regulators and industry groups to raise Cytiva's profile.
• Provide horizon scanning of regulatory and geopolitical developments affecting Cytiva's products, operations, and growth.
