Job summary

Airpelago is seeking a Data Processing Specialist to lead LiDAR data processing and QA workflows behind our drone-based inspections. You will build scalable data flows and integrate new drones and sensors into our Global Data Processing platform.

You will manage end-to-end customer deliverables, evaluate new sensors, and collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality results. A strong background in LiDAR processing and production-grade scripting is essential.

Qualifications

Experience processing LiDAR data from multiple sensor manufacturers.
Experience developing LiDAR processing workflows, from scratch.
Ability to troubleshoot the LiDAR pipeline end-to-end (GNSS -> IMU -> trajectory -> point cloud).
Knowledge of LiDAR post-processing methods (strip alignment, classification).
Production-quality scripting and software skills for data processing workflows (PDAL/laspy, CRS transformations, QGIS).
Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to manage multiple projects.
Minimum of 5 years of higher education, preferably MSc.

Responsibilities

Development and maintenance of LiDAR processing and QA workflows.
Processing of incoming customer data.
Post-processing and QA of captured data.
Evaluating and integrating new sensors and processing tools.
Project management of development activities.
End-to-end responsibility of customer deliverables provided by the Global Data Processing team.
