Job summary

von Feilitzen & Partners AB is seeking an experienced Legal & Compliance Counsel for an interim assignment based in Stockholm. The role supports the Nordic business with strategic legal guidance and practical advice on commercial contracts, compliance, data privacy and digital regulation.

The successful candidate will lead a small team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to investigations, employment matters and M&A where relevant.

Qualifications

• Swedish law degree with solid relevant post-qualification experience.
• Experience from an in-house Legal Counsel role and/or a reputable law firm.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts, negotiations and general business law.
• Good understanding of compliance, preferably including data privacy and/or digital regulation.
• Exposure to competition/antitrust, trade compliance, anti-corruption or employment law is an advantage.
• Experience leading or coordinating others is an advantage.

Legal & Compliance Counsel, Interim assignment

For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Legal & Compliance Counsel. This is an interim assignment starting on 1 October 2026, for approximately 3–6 months, based in Stockholm.

Assignment & Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small team and provide strategic, business-oriented legal advice to the Nordic business.

• Advise commercial and product teams on contracts, negotiations and key legal matters.

• Support and drive compliance in areas such as data privacy, digital regulation, competition law and anti-corruption.

• Support investigations, employment-related matters, crisis management and M&A where relevant.

• Collaborate with divisional Legal, Compliance and Data Protection teams and key stakeholders across the business.

Background & Experience

• Swedish law degree with solid relevant post-qualification experience.

• Experience from an in-house Legal Counsel role and/or a reputable law firm.

• Strong experience in commercial contracts, negotiations and general business law.

• Good understanding of compliance, preferably including data privacy and/or digital regulation.
