Job summary

Integro Consulting in Sweden is seeking a Senior Expert in Embedded Software Architecture and Spark-Ignited Internal Combustion Engine (SI ICE) Control for a Volvo Trucks assignment. You will shape next-generation powertrain control, focusing on hydrogen engines and advanced AI-driven diagnostics.

You will lead model-based development, software integration, and automated workflows, contributing across disciplines to deliver robust, scalable systems and value-driven engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in powertrain software and embedded systems.
• Strong background in model-based control for SI engines, including hydrogen.
• Experience with AUTOSAR Classic and automotive diagnostics.
• Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define scalable embedded software architectures for SI ICE with hydrogen.
• Develop ECU functions for air-path management and torque modelling.
• Translate requirements into verified control models and software.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate activities across disciplines.
• Improve automation of development, testing, and calibration workflows.
• Drive SIL/HIL testing, data analysis, and validation.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps and documentation.
