Job summary

Tata Technologies in Gothenburg, Sweden, seeks an Embedded SW Architecture Engineer to lead model-based control and embedded software architecture for spark‑Ignited ICE applications, including H2 engines.

You will own end-to-end software development, from requirements and system engineering to design, integration, testing and calibration, and you will drive automation and AI/ML–enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in powertrain, embedded systems, or automotive product development.
• Senior-expert competence in model-based control systems for spark-ignited engines.
• Deep knowledge of ECU function development and sensors/actuators.
• Strong experience in embedded software design and AUTOSAR Classic.
• Experience with ISO 26262 and SAE 21434 security standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical authority for model-based control and embedded software architecture for spark-ignited ICE applications.
• Lead end-to-end software development from requirements breakdown to release-readiness.
• Drive automation, automated testing, and calibration workflows to speed development.
• Develop scalable SI/H2 ECU control concepts and integration with the powertrain platform.
• Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and knowledge transfer across teams.
• Establish toolchains for model-based development, code generation, and CI.
