Job summary

Hitachi Energy, Västerås is seeking an Electrical Lead Engineer to join their team in Grids and Power Quality Solutions. You will design control and relay protection systems, ensuring quality in delivery projects while collaborating with both junior and senior colleagues.

With your background in Electrical Engineering, and at least 5 years of relevant experience, you'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to improving electrical stability. Fluency in English and Swedish is essential, alongside the potential for EU travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in electrical engineering roles.
• Knowledge of control and relay protection systems.
• Experience with FACTS, Substation, or infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design control and relay protection systems and integrate third-party systems.
• Lead engineering work in delivery and improvement projects.
• Ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled through validated designs.
