Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking an Electrical Lead Engineer to join our team in Västerås, Sweden. In this role, you will be accountable for designing control systems and documentation for customer projects, with a focus on enhancing quality and cost efficiency. This position offers the chance to collaborate with global colleagues and leads engineering in various projects.

Ideal candidates will have a university degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and fluency in both English and Swedish. Additional advantages include knowledge of Electric CAD systems and experience with FACTS applications.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience from similar roles within electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of calculation tools and relay configuration.
• Experience from FACTS, Substation, or infrastructure projects is a big advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design control and relay protection system, electrical plant system, auxiliary equipment and integrate third party systems.
• Create drawings and product configurations.
• Lead engineering in delivery projects, improvement projects, and tenders.
• Convert technical requirements into a validated design and ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
