ICA Gruppen seeks an Integration Platform Engineer to build and run scalable Kafka‑driven integration capabilities within ICC. You will shape topics, connectors, and streaming services, while ensuring security, observability, and cost efficiency across multi‑cloud setups.

The role emphasizes run‑the‑bank responsibilities, cross‑team collaboration, and continuous improvement of automation and self‑service tooling for developers.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience with Apache Kafka, Strimzi, Kafka Connect API, Kraft.
• 4–6 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Linux experience (including WSL).
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Ansible Tower.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver Strimzi Kafka‑related services with a focus on scalability.
• Implement Kafka stream processing services for real‑time data analytics.
• Develop self‑service APIs and CLI tools for provisioning topics and schemas.
• Set up advanced monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Design high‑availability and disaster recovery strategies for Kafka.
• Perform cluster maintenance, upgrades, and capacity planning with zero downtime.
