Job description

Join Polar Point and help shape cybersecurity that makes a real difference

At Polar Point, you will not be one employee among many. You will join a growing cybersecurity company where trust, customer impact and clarity are at the center of everything we do.

We work closely with CISOs, IT leaders and security teams to help organizations strengthen resilience, reduce risk and gain better control of their digital environments. Our work combines strategic advisory, hands‑on implementation and long-term customer relationships.

As a Junior Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful cybersecurity and IT security assignments, work close to experienced colleagues and contribute to Polar Point’s continued growth. You will help create structure, coordination and progress in customer projects where quality, communication and responsibility matter.

About Polar Point

Polar Point AB is a Stockholm-based cybersecurity consultancy helping Nordic organizations navigate complexity with clarity. We provide senior expertise, advisory services and practical security solutions that enable customers to manage cyber risk confidently while staying focused on their business.

Our core areas include identity and access management, endpoint security, vulnerability management, security platform implementation, compliance support, security health checks, AI security and project‑based cybersecurity delivery.

We are independent, pragmatic and outcome‑focused. Our ambition is to be a trusted cybersecurity partner for organizations that need senior guidance, hands‑on expertise and clear progress in complex environments.

About the role

As a Junior Project Manager at Polar Point, you will support the planning, coordination and successful delivery of cybersecurity and IT security projects for our customers. You will work closely with senior project managers, consultants, technical experts, vendors and customer stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered with structure, quality and clear communication.

You will help create progress in assignments where multiple teams, priorities and dependencies need to come together. In practice, this means supporting project plans, follow‑up, reporting, meeting coordination, documentation and stakeholder communication.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid project management foundation who enjoys working in a consulting environment, building trusted customer relationships and helping technical and business stakeholders move toward successful outcomes.

What you will do
Project coordination and delivery support
  • Coordinate and support customer projects from initiation through delivery and follow‑up.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, time plans, status updates, budgets and reporting material.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies and resource needs.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, status meetings and follow‑up activities with customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure clear communication between technical experts, vendors, customers and business stakeholders.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, decision material and executive‑level updates when needed.
  • Support project governance and help ensure alignment with internal standards and customer requirements.
  • Contribute to strong customer relationships by delivering a high level of service, structure and professionalism.
Stakeholder coordination and communication
  • Help coordinate stakeholders across customer organizations, Polar Point, partners and vendors.
  • Support senior project managers and consultants in planning, prioritization and follow‑up.
  • Communicate project status, risks and next steps in a clear and structured way.
  • Help create clarity in situations where requirements, dependencies or responsibilities are changing.
  • Support customer decision‑making by preparing concise and relevant information.
Practice development and ways of working
  • Contribute to Polar Point’s project methods, templates, routines and delivery practices.
  • Help improve how we plan, report and follow up cybersecurity and IT security assignments.
  • Share learnings from customer projects and support continuous improvement across the team.
  • Work close to experienced colleagues, founders and decision‑makers as the company grows.
Who you are

You are a structured and communicative project professional who enjoys creating order, momentum and clarity. You are comfortable coordinating across different teams and stakeholders, and you understand that successful delivery depends on both planning discipline and strong relationships.

You probably enjoy working close to customers, following up details and helping teams move from plans to practical delivery. You take ownership, communicate clearly and care about delivering work that creates value.

You will likely thrive at Polar Point if you:

  • want to be part of a growing specialist consultancy rather than a large anonymous organisation
  • enjoy creating structure, follow‑up and progress in customer assignments
  • are comfortable coordinating between technical experts, customers and vendors
  • value trust, transparency and long‑term relationships
  • like working close to experienced colleagues, founders and decision‑makers
  • want to grow your project management capability in cybersecurity and IT security delivery
We believe you have
  • Approximately 5 years or more of experience managing or coordinating IT, cybersecurity or technology‑related projects.
  • Experience working in enterprise environments, consulting environments or complex organisations.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and follow up cross‑functional projects involving multiple stakeholders, priorities, timelines and risks.
  • Good understanding of project management methods such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid delivery models.
  • Strong organisational, planning and time management skills.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Planner or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with consultants, technical specialists and customer stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Fluency in Swedish, written and spoken.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance when required.
It is a plus if you also have
  • Previous experience in cybersecurity, information security or IT consulting.
  • Experience from large, complex or regulated organisations.
  • Experience coordinating projects involving security platforms, identity, endpoint security, vulnerability management, compliance or cloud services.
  • Experience preparing reports or decision material for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working with frameworks or regulations such as ISO 27001, NIS2, NIST CSF, DORA or similar.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Agile certification or similar.

Certifications are valuable, but practical experience, sound judgement and proven customer impact matter most to us.

What we offer

At Polar Point, you will join a senior and entrepreneurial team with high ambitions and low prestige. We offer an environment where you can make a visible impact from day one – both for our customers and for the company we are building.

We offer:

  • meaningful cybersecurity and IT security assignments with real customer impact
  • close collaboration with experienced consultants, founders and company leadership
  • the opportunity to shape our services, methods and ways of working
  • a trust‑based culture with high responsibility and flexibility
  • strong focus on quality, clarity and long‑term customer relationships
  • room to grow professionally as Polar Point grows
  • access to a wider specialist network through our partner ecosystem and alliance relationships
  • the chance to help build a cybersecurity consultancy with a clear Nordic identity and strong ambitions
Location and working model

The role is based in Stockholm, with flexibility depending on assignment and customer needs. Some work will be performed remotely, while customer presence is expected when it creates value or is required for delivery.

Because many of our customers operate in Swedish‑speaking environments, fluent Swedish is required.
