Job summary

SEB Life & Pension seeks a Junior Software Platform Engineer to help us modernise how software is built, tested and deployed at scale. You will join a team building tooling, automation and platform services used across our development organisation.

You may be a recent graduate or early in your career, with a technical degree and a strong willingness to learn. Expect exposure to CI/CD, containers, IaC and AI-assisted engineering as you grow.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or up to a few years of professional experience.
• Technical degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Engineering Physics or similar.
• Strong curiosity, problem-solving ability and motivation to learn.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve engineering capabilities used across our development organisation.
• Create tooling, automation and platform services to speed up software delivery.
• Work on CI/CD and deployment automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Develop containers and Kubernetes-based environments.
• Support automated testing, quality and security controls.
• Promote standardisation and self-service for development teams.
• Explore AI-assisted and agentic software engineering.
