Job summary

ALTEN Sverige AB is seeking a junior project leader / hardware design leader (HWDL) to support automotive engineering projects. You will blend technical knowledge with cross-functional coordination, acting as a central contact to ensure smooth information flow and adherence to plans.

The role focuses on coordinating hardware development within powertrain projects, following design status, build plans, verification activities, and delivery schedules, while growing into a leading engineering role.

Qualifications

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience from engineering projects, product development, or technical coordination.
Experience working with PDM systems or similar product data management tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate hardware development activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Support planning and follow-up of build plans, delivery schedules, and verification activities.
Plan and lead component management meetings and follow-up activities.
Monitor project status and drive actions to resolve deviations.
Support project teams with technical coordination and information sharing.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, verification teams, and project managers.
Contribute to concept discussions and design coordination activities.
Act as a key contact regarding overall design status and project progress.
