Job summary

ALTEN Sweden is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to assume a Group Design Leader role on an automotive project in Gothenburg. You will guide mechatronic development, coordinating cross-functional teams and driving technical delivery.

The role emphasizes leading design, aligning mechanical and electrical domains, and making decisions to meet time, cost and quality targets while using Teamcenter, CarWeaver and other PLM tools to support and document system work.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in mechatronics design.
• Experience with Teamcenter and PLM systems (required).
• Familiarity with KDP/TCP (preferred).
• Experience with SystemWeaver / CarWeaver / StarWeaver (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead development within mechatronic systems.
• Coordinate between Mechanical and Electrical domains.
• Drive technical decisions and ensure delivery on time, cost, and quality.
• Work with PLM systems such as Teamcenter and KDP/TCPLM.
• Use CarWeaver for system support and documentation.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and manage stakeholders.
• Identify risks and drive mitigation actions.
