Job summary

Effektify is seeking a Junior Backend Developer to help build and improve the platform that turns marketing, e-commerce, and business data into clearer insights. You’ll work on backend logic, databases, and integrations, with a hands-on role that offers rapid growth.

You will collaborate with the CTO and tech team (primarily based in Halmstad). The role is office-forward, with 2–3 days per week on-site, and flexible days for the rest.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in system development, backend development, or similar hands-on work.
• A university education in IT, computer science, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Good foundation in backend development and programming.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Comfortable with APIs, backend logic, and data flows.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve backend logic, APIs, and product functionality.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Support integrations between ad platforms, analytics tools, e-commerce systems, and financial systems.
• Improve backend structure, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with frontend and product to ship features end-to-end.
• Leverage modern AI tools to move faster and improve quality.
