Job summary

The Ripple Effect in Stockholm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own backend systems and infrastructure. You will choose Python frameworks (Django, FastAPI or Flask) to suit each project, balancing startup speed with enterprise reliability.

You’ll manage CI/CD, containers and infrastructure as code on GCP or AWS, and you’ll push AI features into real products while maintaining quality. Collaboration with architects, DevOps, and frontend specialists is key.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building backend or fullstack systems, strong opinions, and the ability to drop them when needed.
• Consultant or multi-project experience, excited by new codebases.
• Curious about why code exists and the value it creates, not just how it’s written.
• AI features integrated into production and used daily.

Responsibilities

• Build backend systems in Python with Django, FastAPI or Flask.
• Own the road to production: CI/CD, containers and IaC on GCP or AWS.
• Make AI features real parts of products with quality.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps and frontend specialists on good design.
