IRIS² Programme Manager– EU Communication Gateway (Ground Segment)

Take on one of Europe’s most visible and complex space infrastructure programmes. In this role, you will lead SSC’s contribution to IRIS² within the EU Communication Gateway Lot, with full accountability for delivery while building and scaling a high-performing programme organisation across ground segment infrastructure, engineering, operations, and industrial partners.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Programme Director or Senior Programme Manager delivering large-scale programmes with full accountability
• Extensive experience within ESA and/or ECSS environments
• Strong track record in building programme organisations
• Experience from prime contractor or system integrator environments
• Experience in satellite communications, ground segment or related infrastructure
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Own and drive programme delivery
• Lead and scale the programme organisation
• Establish industrial organisation and partner model
• Ensure governance aligned with ESA/ECSS
• Act as key stakeholder interface
• Own milestones and acceptance
