Job description

At MacGregor, you will play a key role in managing and developing server environments and network infrastructure while ensuring that Cargo Access Solutions (CAS) requirements are met. This is a unique opportunity to work close to both operations and compliance in a global and technically advanced environment.

More Tasks and Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Operations

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance
• Operate and support network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, and segmentation
• Ensure reliable backup, recovery, and monitoring processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure‑related issues
• Support and align with the global IT organization on infrastructure standards and operations
• Participate in infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Regulatory Alignment

• Ensure that the IT environment supports CAS requirements for handling classified and sensitive information
• Maintain infrastructure that meets Designated Security Authorities (DSA) standards
• Contribute to audits, inspections, and compliance‑related activities connected to CAS
• Act as a local point of contact for questions related to infrastructure within regulated environments

Classified Information Management

• Support secure network configurations, including segmentation and controlled environments
• Ensure proper handling of sensitive and classified data within secure infrastructures

Reporting directly to the Manager of ICT Architecture & Infrastructure, located in Finland. The position is based at MacGregor’s office in Gothenburg.

Core Experience

• Several years of experience working with IT infrastructure and server operations
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
• Experience with networking (switches, firewalls, ACLs)
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex environments
• Understanding of network segmentation and controlled IT environments
• Experience working in regulated or security‑sensitive environments (meritorious)
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms (meritorious)
• Professional proficiency in English and Swedish
