Job summary

SCANIA Aktiebolag, part of TRATON Group, offers an Industrial PhD Student position in World Models and Autonomous Driving. You’ll develop end-to-end trainable models for autonomous trucks, focusing on robust world representations for real-time planning, within a hybrid work setup at Scania Sergel and Midway hubs. You will be a PhD student at KTH, supervised by Prof.

Patric Jensfelt and Assoc. Prof. Olov Andersson, employed by TRATON with standard employee benefits while affiliated with KTH.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field with strong mathematical foundations.
• Proven programming and machine-learning skills and an interest in robotics and autonomous systems.
• Experience with Python or C++ and knowledge of ML/DL is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop autonomous vehicle world representations and end-to-end trainable models.
• Collaborate with TRATON R&D teams on autonomous transport solutions.
• Coordinate with KTH as PhD student in RPL dept under supervisors.
