Job summary

NOBA Bank Group is seeking an Identity & Access Management Lead to own the strategy and lead the IAM team. You will set direction, drive outcomes and dive into details when needed, ensuring secure and compliant access across the bank.

You’ll partner across IT Operations to align identity with business needs, advance Microsoft Entra ID as the authoritative source, and balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operations, while reducing manual work.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people or teams, formally or as a technical lead.
• Solid IAM experience, ideally with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD in a hybrid identity environment.
• Understand access management and audit requirements in a regulated environment.
• Experience with automation, Lifecycle Workflows, PIM or equivalent.
• Genuine interest in reducing manual work and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the IAM team, creating an environment where people grow and do their best work.
• Set the team’s priorities, ways of working and balance between strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
• Oversee end-to-end identity lifecycle: onboarding, role changes, offboarding and everything that keeps access accurate and timely.
• Drive the roadmap for Microsoft Entra ID as the authoritative identity source, phasing out on-premises Active Directory.
• Oversee access governance, including access reviews and privileged access management.
• Shape SSO strategy and coverage across SaaS and internal applications.
• Align identity with compliance obligations, including reporting and audit readiness.
• Be the leading authority on identity and access across the organisation.

Lead the team. Own the strategy. Shape how a bank manages access. Here, you’ll lead our IAM team and own identity as a strategic discipline, setting the direction while still diving into the details. Your work will strengthen both our security and our compliance as a bank, and you’ll influence how we handle access for many years to come.

We are IT Operations at NOBA, the team that keeps the bank’s IT environment running smoothly, securely and reliably every day. Identity and access touch nearly every part of IT, so we work closely with colleagues across the organisation. Together, we make sure the right people have the right access at the right time, and that we meet the requirements placed on us as a bank.

About the role:

As Identity & Access Management Lead, you’ll combine people leadership with strategic ownership: you set direction, own outcomes and dive into the detail when needed. You’ll lead our IAM team and be the go-to person for identity across the organisation. You will be responsible for:

• Leading, coaching and developing the IAM team, creating an environment where people grow and do their best work

• Setting the team’s priorities, ways of working and balance between strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations

• The end-to-end identity lifecycle: onboarding, role changes, offboarding and everything that keeps access accurate and timely

• The roadmap for making Microsoft Entra ID our authoritative identity source, phasing out reliance on on-premises Active Directory and improving it along the way

• Access governance, including access reviews and privileged access management

• SSO strategy and coverage across our SaaS and internal application landscape

• Identity’s role in our compliance obligations, including DORA-related reporting and audit readiness

• Being the leading authority on identity and access across the organisation

Who we’re looking for:

You enjoy owning a vision and a roadmap, not just working through tickets. You bring out the best in others, collaborate confidently across teams, love automating away manual work and take the lead when something needs to improve.

In addition, we’re looking for you who:

• Have experience leading people or teams, formally or as a technical lead

• Have solid experience in IAM, ideally with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD in a hybrid identity environment

• Understand access management and audit requirements in a regulated environment

• Have experience with automation, Lifecycle Workflows, PIM or equivalent

• Have a genuine interest in reducing manual work

• Are comfortable working cross-functionally, since identity touches nearly every other domain within IT

• Have experience from financial services (a plus)
