Job summary

Sverige BAUER GL AB is seeking a Hydraulic Grab Operator (m/f/x) for a special foundation construction project in Gothenburg. The position is limited for a period ending February 2027, with responsibilities including operating BAUER hydraulic grab, assisting in setup, and ensuring HSE compliance.

Ideal candidates bring several years of experience operating hydraulic grabs, training in construction machinery, and the ability to work both independently and in an international team.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience operating hydraulic clamshell grabs.
• Training or education in operating construction machinery (apprenticeship or professional training).
• Ability to work independently and in teams of international composition.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Operate BAUER hydraulic grab and ancillary equipment per site conditions.
• Assist in setting up BAUER machines and ancillary equipment.
• Ensure machinery is used to high standards, complying with HSE guidelines.
• Report important events and suggest potential solutions to supervisor.
• Perform and document pre/post-shift inspections and report activities.
• Assist mechanics with maintenance and repairs on foundation equipment.
