Job summary

NA-KD is seeking a Purchase Controller to own end-to-end product category responsibility and optimize assortment for sales and inventory targets. You will analyze data to identify opportunities and drive profitability while collaborating closely with buying and merchandising teams to define strategies.

The role focuses on forecasting, budgeting and KPI tracking, with a proactive mindset to communicate risks and opportunities and to improve purchasing processes.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational background in Business administration and/or Textile.
• 1-2 years of experience within purchase or commercial controlling, sales merchandising or buying, preferably within a retail or e-commerce company.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Google sheets, BI tools and Claude (AI).
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven, strategic mindset.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and forecasting: Set, communicate and follow up the sales plan, purchase budget and KPIs for your categories.
• Purchasing strategies: Set the category assortment and purchasing strategy with the buying team. Ensure the right assortment mix by product, quantity, price, margin and timing.
• Purchase, sales and inventory analysis: Conduct data-driven analyses and collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize assortment planning, inventory levels and sales potential.
• Process improvement: Continuously seek to improve purchasing and controlling processes, including tools, reporting and follow-ups.
