Job summary

Boliden seeks an IT & OT Security Coordinator to safeguard and improve security across our smelters and OT/IT environments. You will bridge operations with central IT Security and Infrastructure teams to identify risks and implement protective measures.

The role is based at the office with regular site presence as needed. You will work with a talented team, drive risk-based security strategies, and participate in audits while staying current on security trends.

Qualifications

• Relevant education in OT/IT security or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working with IT related security solutions, tools and frameworks.
• Broad experience in security patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Hands-on experience with network security, encryption technologies, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Reduce vulnerabilities and improve the security posture across IT/OT environments.
• Strengthen collaboration between IT, security, and operations.
• Contribute to faster and more effective incident response.
• Help establish scalable and sustainable security practices.
• Develop and implement risk-based security strategies, standards and protocols.
• Conduct or coordinate security audits/assessments and participate in a security task force/incident response when needed.
• Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure compliance with our security standards and secure integrations.
