Job summary

Jobtailor in Sweden seeks an OT/IT security professional to safeguard, improve, and maintain security across industrial environments. You will work with mine operations, IT Security and Infrastructure teams, and external partners to identify risks and implement protective measures.

The role requires hands-on experience with network security, firewalls, and vulnerability remediation, plus strong communication and agile collaboration abilities. English is required; Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Relevant education in OT/IT security or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with IT related security solutions, tools and frameworks.
• Broad experience in security patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Hands-on experience with network security, encryption technologies, and firewalls.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with agile working methods and project participation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
• Communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English written and spoken, Swedish is an advantage.
• B-Driving license.
• Experience in industrial/OT environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
• Experience working in agile or project-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Safeguarding, improving, and maintaining a high level of security across smelters and related OT/IT environments.
• Working closely with mine operations as well as local and central IT Security and Infrastructure teams and external partners.
• Identifying risks and implementing effective, sustainable protective measures.
• Troubleshooting OT network/security issues and providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Collaborating in cross-functional projects and taking a key role in identifying improvement areas and implementing enhancements.
• Staying up to date with relevant security trends, threats and best practice and keeping documentation current.
• Developing and implementing risk-based security strategies, standards and protocols.
• Conducting or coordinating security audits/assessments and participating in a security task force/incident response when needed.
• Collaborating with external partners and suppliers to ensure compliance with security standards and secure integrations.
