Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Ludvika, Sweden, is seeking an experienced Design Lead for the Mechanical Plant Design TPM team. You will design HVDC station layouts in 3D, produce 2D drawings, and support project documentation across its global projects.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, 3+ years in plant engineering, NX experience, and strong English communication. Swedish language skills are a plus, with hybrid/global collaboration opportunities.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience, preferably in plant/industrial engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and 2D drawings; NX experience advantageous.
• Fluent English; Swedish knowledge is a plus.

Mansioni

• Perform station layout design in 3D modelling for parts and assemblies.
• Create 2D drawings and layouts; ensure timely delivery with quality and safety standards.
• Apply standard design techniques and applicable HVDC plant design guidelines.
• Prepare and present BOMs, estimated engineering hours, and project documentation.
• Interact with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal departments to meet scope.
