Job summary

Ellos Group in Borås is seeking a results-driven Business Controller for Elpy. You will monitor financial performance, drive budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close, and develop KPIs and dashboards to support strategic decisions.

You will collaborate across Finance, Product, Tech and Management, translating data into actionable insights and business value while guiding improvement initiatives in a dynamic fintech-enabled e-commerce environment.

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent higher education in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing and performance monitoring
Solid understanding of accounting, financial management and financial analysis
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
Experience in reporting and data visualization using Power BI or similar tools
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

Monitor and control the existing credit, loan, and insurance business
Be responsible for budgeting and forecasting for the business area
Run deep-dive analysis to find optimization opportunities
Model and evaluate new business opportunities
Manage the collection (Inkasso) stock
Support optimization of our credit scorecards and fraud rules
Drive continuous improvements through IT solutions and lead the development of BI
Lead and support development projects
Provide general support to the business
