Job summary

Capgemini Engineering, a world leader in engineering services, seeks a Power electrical engineer to contribute to the development of high-voltage products and applications, including HVDC systems.

You will collaborate with the team on pre-studies, schematic design, plant layout, and verification, while engaging in dynamic performance analysis and control algorithm development for HVDC networks.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electric Power Engineering or Engineering Physics; 3–5 years of experience in power engineering.
• Proficiency in PSCAD/EMTDC, Matlab, PSSE, and DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and structured work approach.
• Ability to take responsibility for project tasks and ensure on-time delivery.
• ECAD expertise for PCB design and LTspice would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to ensure the overall performance of HVDC transmission systems.
• Interact with surrounding AC networks and related AC-Network stability studies.
• Analyze and optimize the dynamic performance of HVDC systems, including developing control algorithms.
• Work on tenders and order projects, providing support to the Sales department during the marketing phase.
