Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Power Electrical Engineer to develop high voltage products and applications, including pre-studies, schematic design, and plant layout. You will verify and validate HV systems, and contribute to HVDC transmission projects with a focus on performance and control algorithms.

You will collaborate across teams, participate in AC-network studies, and support tenders and orders during the marketing phase.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electric Power Engineering or Engineering Physics with 3 to 5 years of experience in power engineering.
• Proficiency in PSCAD/EMTDC, Matlab, PSSE, and DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and structured work approach.
• Ability to take responsibility for project tasks and ensure on-time delivery.
• ECAD expertise for PCB design and LTspice is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop high voltage products and applications, including pre-studies, schematic design and plant layout.
• Perform verification and validation of HV systems and controller algorithms.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure overall performance of HVDC transmission systems.
• Engage with AC-network studies and stability analyses as part of the project.
• Support tenders and orders, assisting Sales during marketing phases.
