Job summary

BMI Group is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee Health, Safety, and Environment operations across Sweden, including our plants in Jönåker or Vittinge. You will serve as the primary HSE contact and drive safety initiatives with HR support, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates bring ISO 14001/45001 experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead safety programs across multiple sites in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent Swedish and professional English.
• Experience implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Experience in an international, multi-site environment.
• Proficient with productivity suites (Google Workspace/MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive HSE operations across Sweden and supervise plant and warehouse facilities.
• Partner with HR to lead and develop safety initiatives.
• Maintain HSE regulatory compliance and ISO-aligned management systems.
• Lead risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Formulate and monitor an annual HSE action plan and KPIs.
• Deliver engaging HSE training and contribute to cross-site knowledge sharing.
