Job summary

Leap29 is engaged on a major hyperscale data centre project in Stockholm and seeks experienced HSE Managers/Advisors for long-term freelance contracts. The role covers health and safety across construction, MEP delivery and commissioning, with a focus on RAMS, inspections and incident investigations.

Candidates should have data centre or mission-critical project experience, NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent, and be able to operate on-site in Stockholm with rights to work in Sweden.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HSE Manager, HSE Advisor, EHS Manager, EHS Advisor or similar.
• Strong construction health and safety experience.
• Previous Data Centre / Mission Critical experience is highly desirable.
• Experience working on large-scale construction or MEP projects.
• Comfortable working around high-risk construction, electrical and commissioning activities.
• Experience with RAMS, site inspections, audits and incident investigation.
• Relevant HSE qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Stockholm
• Relevant right to work in Sweden.

Responsibilities

• Support HSE activities across day-to-day construction and MEP works.
• Carry out regular site safety inspections and identify areas requiring corrective action.
• Review RAMS and ensure works are being carried out in accordance with agreed procedures.
• Monitor subcontractors and support safe working practices across multiple trades.
• Work closely with construction, MEP and commissioning teams as the project progresses.
• Support permit-to-work and high-risk construction activities.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings where required.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and follow through on corrective actions.
• Maintain project HSE documentation and reporting.
• Participate in project safety meetings and communicate HSE issues to the wider delivery team.
• Help maintain a strong safety culture throughout construction, commissioning and handover.

Leap29 is supporting the delivery of a large-scale 100MW hyperscale data centre project in Stockholm. We are looking for experienced HSE Managers and HSE Advisors to join the project on a long-term contract basis.

The position will support site health and safety throughout construction and MEP delivery, continuing through testing, commissioning and handover.

We are interested in candidates with previous experience delivering data centres, mission-critical facilities or other technically complex construction projects.
