Job summary

PolyPeptide Group seeks a seasoned Head of Human Resources for its Malmö site to lead HR strategy and operations for a 450+ employee, global manufacturing environment. The role partners with site leadership to drive organizational development, workforce planning and performance management while ensuring compliant HR processes and strong stakeholder relationships.

You will oversee payroll, benefits, recruitment and onboarding, while championing talent development, engagement and transformation

Qualifications

• Senior HR leader with 10+ years of broad HR management experience at national/local level, including populations of 200+ in international, regulated environments.
• Proven senior HR business partner with strong business acumen, financial and analytical expertise, and transformation experience.
• Broad HR generalist expertise across organizational development, recruitment, learning, engagement, compensation and lifecycle processes.
• Strong knowledge of Swedish labour law, social security, benefits and unions.

Responsibilities

• Act as HR partner to Site Director and leadership across Malmö.
• Develop organizational design, workforce planning and leadership effectiveness.
• Lead HR processes across the lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, learning, compensation, benefits, engagement, offboarding.
• Ensure compliant HR administration including payroll, time/attendance, contracts and data.
• Support transformation initiatives aligned with group strategy and site needs.
• Provide HR guidance to managers and employees, including union relations.
• Ensure HR processes are consistent with global functions at Malmö site.
• Ensure legal and policy compliance and monitor labor market trends and KPIs.
• Lead and develop the site HR team and contribute to Group HR strategy.

About The Role

As Head of Human Resources for the Malmö site, you play a key role in enabling a qualified, engaged and high-performing workforce that supports PolyPeptide’s business ambitions. As HR partner to the site leadership team, you help shape the site’s organizational development while ensuring professional, effective and compliant HR processes and services across the full employee lifecycle. Working in close alignment with PolyPeptide’s mission, values, business priorities and Group HR agenda, you contribute to building a strong, high-performing site organization and provide HR support to the global functions located in Malmö.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as HR partner to the Site Director, Site Management Team and people leaders across the Malmö site.
• Support organizational development, workforce planning, performance management and leadership effectiveness.
• Lead core HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, learning / development / talent management, compensation and benefits, engagement and offboarding.
• Ensure efficient and compliant HR administration, including payroll, time and attendance, benefits, contracts and employee data.
• Support the site’s organizational development and transformation initiatives in close alignment with the group strategy and requirements.
• Provide professional HR guidance to managers and employees, including employee and union relations.
• Provide HR support to global functions located at the Malmö site, ensuring HR processes and employment matters are handled consistently and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and audit requirements.
• Monitor labour market trends and workforce KPIs, taking proactive action where needed.
• Lead and develop the site HR team.
• Contribute to Group HR strategy, processes and tools and ensure implementation at site level.

What You Bring

We are looking for a seasoned HR leader with strong business partnering capabilities, broad generalist expertise and proven experience supporting complex organizations through growth and transformation. The ideal candidate combines sound HR judgment with hands-on operational excellence, strong knowledge of the Swedish labour environment and the ability to build trusted relationships with leaders, employees and unions.

• Senior HR leader with 10+ years of broad and sizeable HR management experience at national / local level, including responsibility for employee populations of at least 200 people, gained in international and complex organizations. Experience in manufacturing, preferably within life sciences or another highly regulated business environment.
• Proven senior HR business partner with strong business acumen, financial and analytical expertise, and a track record of supporting transformation, workforce planning, personnel cost management, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and organizational performance.
• Broad HR generalist expertise and track record across organizational development, recruitment, talent, learning, engagement, compensation, HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
• Service-oriented and operationally strong, with experience in HR administration, payroll, HR process optimization and performance management of the HR function.
• Strong knowledge of Swedish labour law, social security, benefits, pensions and union relations.
• Excellent communicator and trusted advisor, with strong influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to deliver talent / leadership training is a plus.
• High integrity and sound judgment, with the ability to handle sensitive people matters in a professional, ethical and compliant manner.
• Experienced people leader who role-models strong leadership behaviours and PolyPeptide’s values of Innovation, Excellence and Trust.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, with experience and confidence working in global structures.
