Job summary

Legora is scaling across Europe, building an ESG function from the ground up to meet CSRD, carbon accounting, and sustainability disclosure needs. You will lead the end-to-end ESG programme, including AI-automated workflows, data pipelines, and client-facing engagements with Finance, Legal, Workplace, and Revenue, reporting to the VP of Operations.

This founding role focuses on governance, measurement, and credible storytelling around Legora's climate footprint, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

8+ years in ESG, sustainability, or related role with hands-on reporting experience.
Deep AI and datacentre fluency for climate footprint analysis and efficiency trends.

Responsibilities

Stand up Legora's ESG function and define strategy, commitments, and operating plan.
Automate reporting stack for CSRD and related questionnaires using AI.
Own CSRD readiness, data collection, and disclosures with Finance and Legal.
Model Legora's compute and datacentre footprint and track efficiency trends.
Build and run the GHG/carbon accounting and offset programme.
Represent Legora in client calls and ESG due-diligence responses.
Drive audit readiness and keep the programme defensible as regulation evolves.
