Job summary

Telia Cygate seeks a visionary Head of Core Technology to lead the shared technology foundation across our Managed Services business, enabling growth in network, security, hybrid cloud, and future AI-driven services. You will drive the technology strategy, governance, and engineering excellence and act as a key member of the leadership team.

You will oversee platforms, automation capabilities, and internal IT while shaping the operating model and roadmaps to deliver scalable, high-value services

Qualifications

• Experience leading large transformation programs in complex organizations.
• Experience from Managed Services, IT operations, infrastructure or cloud environments.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Core Technology organization.
• Drive strategic transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Shape our technology strategy, architecture, and operating model.
• Own shared platforms, automation capabilities, and internal IT.
• Establish governance, standards, and scalable ways of working.
• Drive technology investments, roadmaps, and long-term capability development.
• Develop processes, ways of working, and engineering capabilities to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
