SSC Space AB is recruiting a GSIE Technical Lead for our Connect team, leading the delivery of ground station and antenna infrastructure. You will guide procurement, design, and verification activities across global suppliers and internal stakeholders.

This senior role offers opportunities for technical leadership, international collaboration, and travel to support project execution and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree in Satellite Communications, Telecommunications, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with wireless or satellite communications design and delivery.
• Experience with requirements definition, design coordination, verification, and delivery of communication systems.
• Ability to coordinate suppliers and stakeholders across locations/time zones.
• Knowledge of international safety and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Aufgaben

• Lead or support specification, procurement, design, construction, and verification of satellite ground station and antenna systems.
• Ensure documentation for system handover and operations.
• Support site selection, licensing, and infra development activities.
• Provide engineering support to project managers to meet schedule, cost, and quality goals.
• Contribute to procurement through supplier evaluation and selection.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and international partners for project delivery.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and sustainability compliance across activities.
• Support business development with technical input and evaluations.
• Take on increasing leadership responsibilities as expertise grows.
