Job summary

SSC Space AB is seeking a Ground Systems Infrastructure Establishment (GSIE) Technical Lead to join the Connect team. You will help deliver ground station and antenna infrastructure and provide technical guidance to support successful project execution.

Depending on experience, the role offers opportunities for technical leadership and project coordination, managing suppliers and internal stakeholders from concept through verification and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with wireless/satellite comms design or radio telescope systems.
• Experience with requirements definition, design coordination, verification and delivery.
• Ability to coordinate suppliers and stakeholders across locations/time zones.
• Knowledge of international safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Project and JIRA is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead/specify, procure, design, build and verify satellite ground station infrastructure and antennas.
• Maintain technical/operational documentation for handover and operations.
• Support site selection, licensing and infrastructure development.
• Provide engineering support to project managers to meet schedule, cost and quality.
• Contribute to procurement activities and supplier evaluation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and international partners.
• Ensure safety, regulatory and sustainability compliance across activities.
• Support bid/proposal preparation and technical evaluations.
• Develop increasing technical leadership as experience grows.
