TATAA Biocenter AB in Gothenburg seeks a Lab Operations Director to lead our GLP/GCLP‑compliant laboratory. This senior, hands‑on role oversees operations, facilities, and site‑wide coordination to support client projects worldwide.

You will manage infrastructure, vendor relationships, and quality systems, report to the COO, and partner with scientists and leadership to drive improvements, growth, and strict regulatory compliance.

Formación

• MSc or PhD in a relevant field with significant industry experience.
• Significant experience managing laboratory operations in a regulated environment.
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Experience in CRO/pharma or life sciences setting preferred.
• Proactive, decisive leader able to operate under time pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee operations of the Gothenburg laboratory site.
• Serve as a key point of escalation for laboratory staff and project execution issues.
• Ensure laboratory infrastructure, equipment, and facilities are maintained and operate efficiently.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with vendors, service providers, contractors, engineers, and facility partners.
• Support laboratory teams in prioritization, problem-solving, and operational decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across laboratory operations, infrastructure, and processes.
• Partner with scientific and operational teams to support client projects.
