Job summary

emagine is seeking a Virtual Manufacturing Engineer in Gothenburg to join the Commodity Battery Cell Prep & Assy team. You will help develop and implement production systems, ensuring cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, and Production facilities globally.

The role emphasizes quality, cost efficiency, and changeover optimization. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in process design for battery or body shops, experience with DFA/DFM, and proficiency in Siemens

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in process design for body or battery shop (cell to pack).
Experience in product design for manufacturing (DFA/DFM).
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Technical education at university level or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of production systems.
Implement product and manufacturing processes globally.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives within the Manufacturing Engineering organization.
Ensure manufacturing attributes are met efficiently.
Support the engineering team with technical solutions.
