About The Role

The Global Talent & Performance SME owns an assigned talent domain end-to-end and serves as the Group's subject matter expert, from design philosophy and governance to system requirements, adoption, and business impact.

What You'll Do

As the process authority for your domain, you will design, govern, and continuously evolve a global talent process. You will be accountable for process outcomes and act as the highest level of subject matter expertise, in line with the HR Operating Model and the 2026-2029 HR Strategy. Execution is delivered through the Regional Talent Management CoE, the HR Business Partner community, and HR Operations. Your role is to equip, enable, and guide these stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and adoption.

Each SME is assigned to one of the four domains within the Talent & Performance CoE:

  • Talent Review & Succession Planning: talent mapping, development actions, succession planning, and pipeline management
  • Performance Management: goal setting, performance evaluation, and calibration governance
  • Career Development: career pathways, development planning, and supporting tools
  • Talent Development Programs: mentoring, coaching, and developmental assessments, governed as integrated programs across the broader talent ecosystem
In detail, you will

As the owner of your domain, you will shape how talent practices are designed, governed, adopted, and evolved across the organization. Your responsibilities span four key areas: process and systems expertise, business partnership, thought leadership, and transformation delivery.

Process & Systems Expertise
  • Design and own the global process for your assigned domain, including frameworks, standards, policies, and guiding principles
  • Govern the application of the process across markets and evaluate exceptions when required
  • Define business and functional requirements for Workday and related platforms, and validate system configurations against intended design outcomes
  • Work directly within the systems, understanding platform capabilities and constraints before designing solutions
  • Use data to support design decisions and measure outcomes, owning domain-specific KPIs, reporting, and insights
Business Partnership
  • Enable the HRBP community and Regional Talent Management CoE to deliver the process effectively within the business, providing guidance, tools, and learning materials
  • Drive alignment and implementation across a matrix organization without formal authority, influencing senior stakeholders across functions and geographies
Thought Leadership
  • Leverage external research, market insights, and benchmarking to inform process design and continuously improve practices
  • View adoption as a core component of design, owning change enablement and ensuring processes are effectively embedded across the organization
  • Develop and articulate a perspective on how workforce trends and AI will shape the future of the domain, translating those insights into practical solutions
Transformation Delivery
  • Lead process redesign and system implementation while maintaining effective delivery of ongoing business cycles
  • Plan, execute, and successfully embed process and system go-lives in alignment with the Talent Management Roadmap
Your Qualifications
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of at least one global or multi-country talent or performance management process, from design and implementation through governance, supported by process documentation, frameworks, or policies authored by you
  • Proven experience defining business or functional requirements for HR technology implementations (such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or Cornerstone), or equivalent hands‑on experience in system design and configuration
  • Strong track record of delivering transformation or redesign initiatives while simultaneously managing ongoing process cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to use data, analytics, and reporting to evaluate outcomes and guide decision‑making
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders within a global matrix organization without formal hierarchical authority
  • Deep expertise in at least one Talent & Performance domain, supported by knowledge of external practices and benchmarking
  • Fluent business English
