Data Steward
We are currently looking for a Data Steward whose main goal will be to establish clear ownership and accountability for workforce data quality across HR, ensuring each data domain is actively managed, governed, and trusted. The Data Steward operationalises the domain ownership model, working across HR to embed consistent standards, resolve data quality issues, and build confidence in the workforce data that underpins reporting, analytics, and strategic decision-making.
Why this role matters?
Ownership of workforce data has shifted to a domain ownership model, where each domain is accountable for the quality, accuracy, and integrity of its own data. Responsibility for enabling and governing this ownership now sits within the Analytics team, as part of the broader HR Operating Model changes.
Historically, workforce data quality has lacked clear ownership and accountability — resulting in inconsistent standards, poor data quality, and limited confidence in reporting and insights. Without dedicated stewardship, domain ownership risks remaining unclear and inconsistently applied across HR.
You will join a team of 4 and report directly to HR Analytics Manager.
