Job summary

Ascom in Gothenburg seeks an experienced Project Manager for Supply Chain to guide global projects from scope to handover. You will coordinate across Supply Chain, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, R&D and suppliers to ensure on-time, quality product introductions and manufacturing readiness.

You bring a master’s degree in engineering, years of cross-functional project leadership, and fluency in English and Swedish.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in mechanical or electronic engineering or a related technical field.
Several years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing and/or Quality Assurance.
Proven experience leading projects and cross-functional project teams.
Strong knowledge of project management methods, planning, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
Strong understanding of electronic manufacturing processes, production flow, test methods and industrialization.
Experience working with external manufacturing partners, preferably EMS or ODM suppliers.
Experience translating technical requirements into clear manufacturing, supplier and quality deliverables.
Understanding of electronic manufacturing processes including production, testing, logistics, purchasing and quality assurance.
Experience building long-term supplier relationships.
Knowledge of ERP systems and good proficiency in Microsoft 365.
Understanding Lean Production and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

Plan, lead and follow up supply chain projects, including scope, timelines, deliverables, risks and reporting.
Ensure quality assurance and on-time delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate product introductions and secure a smooth ramp-up to mass production and maintenance.
Ensure that products are manufactured and repaired according to quality, capacity and lead time requirements.
Manage project progress with EMS and ODM suppliers, including cost, quality plans, yield and capacity.
Confirm manufacturing processes and deliveries are developed, validated and ready for implementation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate activities across Supply Chain, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, R&D, Marketing and other functions.
Support continuous improvement and standardization of project methods and processes.
Contribute to a stable, secure and continuously improving global supply chain.
