Job summary

Crane Currency Malta Limited in Tumba, Sweden, seeks a Shipping Manager to oversee end-to-end transportation and international trade, ensuring compliant, secure delivery worldwide.

You will build relationships with carriers, coordinate customs, monitor shipments, and drive continuous improvements while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

The team consists of seven supply chain professionals, located at the Tumba site, with a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience from administration of all types of transportation and import/export services.
• Experience of customs handling with foreign countries, trade compliance, and other import/export laws and regulations.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Documented knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end transportation and international trade activities, including transport bookings, customs administration, reporting to authorities, and preparation of shipping documentation such as export and import licenses.
• Coordinate and monitor domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery, efficient load planning, and proactive resolution of logistics challenges.
• Build strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to secure reliable and cost-effective transport solutions.
• Purchase transportation services and ensure they are executed efficiently with regard to cost, service quality, lead times, and customs requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable customs, trade, and transportation regulations, while maintaining accurate and complete shipping documentation.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize logistics processes and support business objectives.
• Track performance, analyze results, and contribute to the achievement of logistics and operational goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, increase service levels, and reduce costs through modern tools and working methods.
