Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics Sweden AB is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our daily transport and logistics activities, including fleet management, warehousing, distribution and customer service in Gothenburg. You will manage a team of drivers and operations staff, ensure safety, compliance, and performance, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of logistics and transport.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics, strong leadership, knowledge of EU transport

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in logistics/transport management.
• Strong leadership skills with proven people management experience.
• Knowledge of EU/national transport regulations (ADR, driver hours, road safety, etc.).
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in logistics systems (TMS/WMS/ERP – e.g., SAP, CargoWise).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day logistics and transport operations, ensuring on-time and in-full deliveries.
• Lead and develop warehouse, transport, and operations teams.
• Optimize routes, fleet utilization, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with EU/national transport laws, health & safety, and company standards.
• Monitor KPIs (OTD, OTIF, cost per shipment) and drive improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with customers, carriers, and key stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, costs, and operational performance.
