Job summary

Volvo Financial Services in Gothenburg, Sweden, seeks a Privacy Manager to translate legal requirements into practical business solutions. You will shape privacy governance, advise on regulatory developments, and promote a culture of accountability across the organization.

You will collaborate with Legal & Compliance, Information Security, IT, and the Volvo Group Privacy Office to lead DPIAs, manage data subject requests, and maintain RoPA and data mappings. This is an on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve privacy governance and RoPA.
• Advise senior management on privacy, data protection and regulatory developments.
• Embed Privacy by Design across initiatives, products, and technology.
• Lead DPIAs, privacy risk assessments, and remediation activities.
• Oversee data subject rights requests and privacy incident management.
• Maintain privacy documentation and data mapping.
