Job summary

Nordic Knots is seeking an experienced Packaging Manager in Stockholm to own packaging across inbound and outbound flows. You will collaborate with Product, Brand, Sourcing, Logistics and Legal to move packaging from concept to lifecycle execution.

The role emphasizes development, supplier management, regulatory compliance, sustainability, and logistics optimization to balance premium unboxing with global efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated experience in packaging development, packaging engineering, or materials management.
• Experience developing diverse packaging formats across textiles, furniture, and hardware.
• Proven negotiation with global suppliers, cost reductions, and volume planning.
• Hands-on knowledge of global packaging compliance, labeling, barcodes, and sustainability.
• Ability to coordinate across creative brand discussions, supplier specs, and logistics.
• Working knowledge of design tools to prepare packaging artworks for brand teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Packaging Development: lead design and testing for all new product categories ensuring integrity and optimized freight.
• Supplier Management & Cost Optimization: source, negotiate, and manage global packaging suppliers and costs.
• Compliance, Labeling & Traceability: build global packaging compliance systems across markets.
• Sustainability & Lifecycle Management: drive sustainability strategies and packaging material choices.
• Logistics & Freight Efficiency: optimize packaging dimensions and master carton configurations.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: bridge Product, Brand, Sourcing, and Logistics requirements.
