We’re looking for a sharp, action-oriented Supply Planner to join our Buying team at Nordic Knots. This is a critical operational role that ensures our inventory is in the right place at the right time, bridging demand signals with day-to-day supply decisions to support our continued rapid growth.
You will work closely with our Demand Planner, Production, and commercial teams to own the execution side of our planning cycle: placing orders, monitoring stock, managing release timing, and protecting our DTC channel while fulfilling wholesale and retail commitments.
Key responsibilities
Order Management & Inventory Execution
- Own the end-to-end order placement process, ensuring POs are raised accurately and on time.
- Monitor stock levels continuously and take short-term actions to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Manage replenishment triggers and delivery schedules in close collaboration with Production.
Short-Term Sales Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct weekly sell-through analysis to identify fast movers, slow movers, and emerging stock risks.
- Translate in-season performance into immediate supply and allocation actions.
- Support management with ad-hoc reporting on inventory health, fulfillment rates, and supply gaps.
Release Schedules & Campaign Planning
- Coordinate product release schedules in alignment with the commercial calendar and campaign windows.
- Ensure inventory is correctly allocated and available ahead of key launches and promotional periods.
Channel Allocation - Wholesale, Retail & DTC
- Review wholesale orders and develop fulfillment strategies that protect DTC stock levels.
- Manage stock allocation to our retail stores, ensuring the right products and quantities are available in line with the commercial plan.
- Participate in wholesale and retail planning meetings to assess future supply needs.
- Maintain clear allocation logic across all channels, escalating trade-offs where needed.
Who you are
- 2+ years’ experience in supply planning, inventory management, or a similar operational planning role (preferably in home, fashion, or design) or a recent graduate with a degree in Business, Engineering or related field with a strong interest in Logistics, Retail or Supply Chain.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented - you spot anomalies quickly and act on them.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills; confident building and maintaining operational trackers and reports.
- Curious and forward-thinking - you have a genuine interest in AI and new technologies, and you actively look for ways to automate and optimize your own workflows rather than waiting for someone else to do you.
- Experience with Madden Analytics or similar planning tools is a big plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with many simultaneous moving parts.
- A clear communicator who can translate supply constraints into business language for cross-functional teams.
- Collaborative and solution-oriented, with a low-ego approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent in English.
