Job summary

SAF-HOLLAND is seeking an experienced Network Architect to take global responsibility for developing, standardizing, and future-proofing our network infrastructure across the organisation. You will lead strategic architecture while guiding a global team of Network Engineers and Administrators.

The role reports to the Senior Manager Global Infrastructure and the Team Manager Global Network Services, with responsibility for six professionals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
Extensive networking experience with 10–12+ years in IT infrastructure.
Experience in architecture roles within international or global organisations.
Proven leadership and mentoring of technical teams, with or without formal management.
Strong Cisco networking, routing, switching, SD-WAN and firewall expertise.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the global network strategy and target architecture.
Define architecture standards, policies, design principles, and best practices.
Design WAN, LAN, and WLAN solutions with high availability and scalability.
Own architecture for Cisco-based networking, including routing, switching, SD‑WAN and firewalls.
Design networking solutions for Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
Lead implementations of Zero Trust architecture and modern network security.
Design secure architectures for OT environments with network segmentation.
Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD).
Lead global network projects and major infrastructure transformations.
Review and improve existing networks across global locations.
Provide third-line support during complex incidents.
