Job summary

SAF-HOLLAND, a global industrial company, seeks an experienced Network Architect to own the global network strategy across cloud and on‑premises environments. You will lead a global team of engineers and administrators, defining standards and security practices while driving high availability and scalable network solutions across locations. Strong collaboration with cyber security, OT, and cloud teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 10–12 years of experience in networking and IT infrastructure.
• Experience in architecture roles within international/global organisations.
• Leadership and mentoring experience for technical teams.
• Extensive Cisco Networking, routing, switching, SD‑WAN and firewall expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Networking and hybrid cloud environments.
• Solid experience with network security, Zero Trust, VPN, MFA and modern security architectures.
• Experience in OT/manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Microsoft Azure, or ITIL are valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the global network strategy and target architecture.
• Define architecture standards, policies, design principles, and best practices.
• Design WAN, LAN, and WLAN solutions with high availability and scalability.
• Own architecture for Cisco-based networking (routing, switching, SD‑WAN, firewalls).
• Design networking solutions for Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead the implementation and evolution of Zero Trust and modern security solutions.
• Design secure network architectures for OT environments, including segmentation.
• Produce High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD).
• Lead global network projects and major infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Review and improve existing network environments across global locations.
• Provide technical expertise during incidents and act as third-line support when required.
• Coach and develop the network team's capabilities; ensure governance and standards.
