Job summary

Global Taxation Services Nordic Sweden AB is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to strengthen our global service and Swedish commissioning team. You will lead commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, optimization, and technical support of gas handling and processing systems across Nordics and Europe.

The role involves working with project teams, shipyards, vessel operators, EPC contractors, and customers to ensure safe operations, quality, and customer satisfaction while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Process, Automation, Electrical, or Mechatronics.
• Experience with commissioning, startup, service, or operations of industrial process systems.
• Experience in maritime, offshore, renewables, oil & gas, or related process industries.
• Knowledge of LNG/LPG/LBG/biogas, cryogenic, fuel gas systems, compressors, pumps, valves, or process equipment.
• Ability to read P&IDs and process descriptions; understanding of PLC-based controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute commissioning activities for our systems and equipment.
• Verify installation quality and system readiness prior to startup.
• Perform functional testing, loop checks, and system validation.
• Support mechanical completion and handover processes.
• Ensure successful customer acceptance and project close-out.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, process, automation, and electrical issues.
• Provide expert technical support during warranty and lifecycle service.
• Optimize system performance and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Support customers in achieving safe and efficient operations.
• Act as a technical representative on customer sites.
