Job summary

A renewable energy solutions company is looking for a BESS Procurement Manager in Stockholm to lead procurement and contract management for battery energy storage systems. With over 5 years of experience in application and strong negotiation skills, the candidate will ensure the successful delivery of energy storage projects across Europe. The role requires excellent communication skills and fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in BESS procurement or sales for utility-scale projects.
• Proven skills in commercial negotiation, risk assessment, and contract management.
• Strong technical understanding of energy storage systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Procure integrated energy storage systems including batteries, PCS, control systems, transformers, and switchgear.
• Lead contract negotiations aligned with technical, commercial, and ESG requirements.
• Support technical teams in selecting components with the right commercial and contractual fit.
• Manage supplier due diligence, insurance procurement, and claims.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers globally.
