Job summary

Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, is seeking an Internship Product Engineer to join a hands-on team testing and validating software and sensor-based solutions for the construction industry.

You will gain practical experience by evaluating hardware/software interactions, supporting new product releases, and translating customer needs into product improvements while developing your technical skills in a real-world product environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or holding a degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Hands-on experience in construction, surveying, or infrastructure-related environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD and BIM tools would be beneficial.
• Available for a minimum of 6 months and motivated to gain practical industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Test hardware and software to ensure our solutions meet high quality standards.
• Evaluate hardware and software interactions in real-world testing scenarios.
• Translate customer and market requirements into product improvements.
• Support the product management team in day-to-day activities.
• Create training materials and supporting documentation.
