Job summary

SEB Asset Management is seeking a Data Engineer to help build a modern, scalable cloud data platform on Google Cloud Platform. You will enable the organization with data tools and governance to deliver high-value data products for regulatory use cases and business needs.

You will collaborate in a cross-functional team, perform code reviews, mentor peers, and drive end-to-end data integration initiatives while maintaining a focus on data quality and observability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and operating data products on GCP.
• Experience with data integration, modeling, pipelines, and data management.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and DBT.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, testing, version control (Git), and agile development.
• A degree in CS/IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop a cloud data warehouse solution that supports and optimizes the business.
• Provide stakeholders with business-critical data.
• Work across requirements, testing, development and deployment.
• Maintain an active dialogue with stakeholders about the solutions.
• Contribute to technical design decisions and continuous improvement.
